Facebook is a big part of millions and millions of peoples' lives, but what happens when you pull the plug? Last night I met a man who walked to the edge of the cliff and nearly deactivated his Facebook account. He took a screenshot of what he saw after clicking the "deactivate my account" link on his account page - and it is pretty far-out.
That man considered quitting Facebook because it was having an adverse emotional impact on him and I'll spare him and his contacts from posting the screenshot he shared with me. I’ve experienced 100s of Firefox add-ons, and have whittled them down to about two dozen I use on a regular basis — even out of these, I have favorites. Here are 4 I find both casually enjoyable and sheerly indispensable; I hope they add value to your browsing. Trick to redirect a web address to our own web address
A simple text file edit makes sites redirect to another web address (ur like u can keep any adress). When you type address in address bar in any browser and enter it then it will display another web page, for example:- when you type Google.com you will be redirected to yahoo.com

In an attempt to spark some momentum for Mozilla's open-source Web browser, Firefox team leader Mike Beltzner delivered a Web video presentation Monday night outlining the product's plans for the near future.

Beltzner outlined goals and dates for changes to Firefox's internals and user interface, with the caveat that they were subject to change. Firefox growth has recently stalled in the face of competition from Google's Chrome, and enthusiasm has been growing around other recent efforts such as Microsoft's Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview and Norway's Opera 10.5. Apple, too, has made waves lately with its Safari browser, a version of which is included in its hot CE devices, the iPhone and iPad.
Beltzner listed the three main goals of the plan, to make Firefox: fast, as in super-duper fast; powerful, enabling new open, standard Web technologies (HTML5 and beyond); and empowering, putting users in full control of their browser, data, and Web experience.

9. Whenever, one of your referrals goes below 20 days before next payment pay to add another 30 days. Below 20 days, the autopay function does not work and you will not get the savings for that referral.
10. Every time your account balance reaches $1 transfer the money to your rental balance.
11. At first when you are only making a couple of cents per day it is important to keep enough in your rental balance to maintain your recycling activity because you can only transfer in $1 increments. Once you can complete this transfer and have at least $2.40 in your rental balance rent another 3 referrals.
12. Continue this process until you are making a $1 a day in your account balance.
13. At this point you can begin renting in bigger chunks of referrals every 7 days. Never rent a number of referrals that is greater than 33% of your existing totals as these will become difficult to manage through recycling with your earnings.
14. It will take a while but continue the above listed process until you reach 500 referrals. At this point stop renting and just maintain your referrals.
15. Accumulate the earnings until you can pay for the upgrade to golden.
16. Once golden, maintain your referrals as before. Every week continue to rent referrals until you hit the 2000 refs mark.

HTML 5 seems to be rapidly evolving as the future of web computing. And the world’s most popular web-based company is pushing the technology like never before. Google recently included a drag-and-drop feature in the company’s email application a.k.a GMail. In case you are using Firefox 3.6 or Chrome 4, you can now simply drag any document and paste it to your email/message window, just like you would in most desktop applications. The moment you ‘drop’ the file, GMail will automatically attach the document with the composed email.
Thanks to the new APIs that are part of HTML 5. Although the drag-and-drop feature was initially introduced in Google Wave, the company went a step higher by introducing this to GMail, which has well over 140 million users. The browser support for drag-and-drop is currently the biggest hurdle. Currently this feature is only supported by Firefox 3.6 and Chrome 4. Although Safari supports the drag-and-drop API, the feature doesn’t quite work when you use it with GMail. In case of IE 8 it is not supported at all, although you can use Google Chrome Frame as a workaround.
